TAILBONE FRACTURE

(2 discussions)

MY HUSBAND IS AN ARMY OFFICERE SERVING IN IRAQ (BAGHDAD).
HE HAS FRACTURED HIS TAILBONE AND HAS REFUSED ALL PAIN MEDICATION FOR DUTY REASONS. A VERY IVASIVE PROCEDURE WAS USED TO SET THE TAILBONE, HOWEVER, AS ONE MIGHT EXPECT, HE IS STILL IN A GREAT DEAL OF PAIN. ARE THERE ANY EXCERCISES, STRETCHES, OR THERAPIES THAT HE CAN DO ON HIS OWN. GETTING PHYSICAL THERAPY GIVEN HIS LOCATION AND HIS OTHER DUTIES HAS PROVEN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND I KNOW THAT HE IS SUFFERING REGARDLESS OF HIS LACK OF COMPLAINT. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I fractured my tailbone and now it is very hard for me to sit or to even walk fast. I have been excused from P.E from my doctor for 3 weeks but now I need information about tailbones can you help me?

i don’t really have any suggesstions as well as I need suggesstions to because I on the other hand broke my tailbone to, but the only thing I can tell you is convince him to see some sort of doctor that can give him a donut to sit on like they gave me and I also hope for a safe return for your husband!
