Tear of planter fascia 2mm below sigmoidal bone

I have a small tear of the planter fascia about 2mm below the sigmodial bone of the left foot.
I’ve been told this is very uncommon, and need surgery.
I’m searching for an experienced podiatric surgean who have performed this operation. Can you help me??

There are several questions-Do you mean the tear is near the sesamoid bones? Have you been immobilized either in a cast or cast brace or non weight bearing on crutches? If so, how long? I would hope an MRI or ultrasound was done to show this and as far as an experienced podiatric surgeon you can go to the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeon and search for one in your area.acfas
