teenage foot growth
At what rate do male and female teenagers feet grow (on average)? Less than a half size a year? A half size a year? A full size?
I am attempting to develop a rational policy for teenage Air Cadet boot purchase. A balance must be made between expense and durability.
If teenage feet grow very fast, less durable (less expensive) boots would be better because the Cadets would outgrow the boots before they were worn out. If teenage foot growth is, on average, slow, more expensive durable boots would be a better choice.

The rate of growth varies with age, gender as well as race. Most girls feet are done by about 15. Boys can continue for several years after that. I realize you want exact numbers, at this point I can not quote any exact refernce, although it must be out there. If I come across it, I will post back.
