Dr. Abrams, I have recently had pain in my left big toe when I extend my toe.
I cannot fully extend the toe without feeling like the tendon is going to snap.
Any suggestions?
It would be best to see a podiatrist and have your foot examined and possibly x-rayed. There are several possibilities that come to mind. The problem could be tendon, joint or bony.
