Tendonitus posterior Tibialis / “Torn Tendon”

I am to have surgery next week & I’m wondering what to expect. I have used ortotics, Brace & rehab with no improvement in a year. They will attach a tendon from a middle toe, + break my heel & adjust it to take some of the presure off the tendon & correct my allignment. I’m nervous. I’d like some feedback on how it should turn out
