Tennis Elbow
(2 discussions)
I have had tennis elbow for two months.
I have tried several straps and supports that have not helped.
I have not played for a week and a half and that did not work.
It only hurts bad when I am playing tennis and when I am hitting a shot wrong. Are there any adjustments, massage, or exercises that can be done? Thanks, Stan

The problem is typically self limiting. Typically the cure is to stop the repetitive motion causing it. In your cause, playing Tennis. Need to take a break and let it calm down. Transverse friction massage helps, as does eliminating any joint fixations in the joints of the elbow. Ice the heck out of it, it will help. Another option is a cortisone shot but that relief is typically short lived if you continue aggravating it.
