time frame

With the success of my neurectomy of both feet, I read somewhere that the average time for healing is around three weeks. I realize that I will have exchanged numbness for pain, but does that seem like about the right amount of time. I am able to walk now with the surgical boots, and I get an occasional zap when I step on the surgery site.

I tell my patients healing proceeds at a different rate for patients depending on age, health, activity and post op complaince. I suggest three weeks is a bit premature to expect full healing
