Tinels sign
Does anyone know anything about Tinels sign. IS there always pain associated with it. Does is go away. I am waiting to see a specialist but am researching in the mean time. I seem to have the electric shock symptom with no pain. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me. There is not much info on the web.

This is a tingling that travels away from the area being tapped with a special little rubber hammer we use. There is not necessarily pain associated with this finding. It usually indicates something going on with a nerve.
