My husband has been experiencing numbness of toes and tingling feeling he describes sometimes as almostif on fire.
But prevalent complaint is numbness…his physician has prescribed Neurontin…doesn’t seem to help alot.
Any suggestions as to causes?

There could be a number of causes of this. Diabetes, Thyroid irregularity, Sciatic problem, Tarsal Tunnel syndrome, vascular problems, and neuropathy where the cause is not yet determined. There are many other possibilites but I think he needs to see a neurologist for evaluation.
