toe pain
my wife has had continuous pain in her 2nd toe (next to the big toe) since July 05 and the toe is distorted and twisted. She had an MRI on the toe and front foot which took 1 hour 20 minutes! Why would the scan take so long on such a small area? We are worried about cancer.

I don’t know why it took that long, I usually tell my patients they will be in there 45 minutes. It could be the specific machine, operator, paperwork, etc. I can’t comment about what is wrong with her toe, as I have not seen her foot. Hopefully, your doctor has had a chance to evaluate the report and will discuss this with you.
