toenail removed~healing time?

My mom had 2 toenails removed six weeks ago and it has a lot of puss and it still bleds and hurts alot. is this normail and how long does it normally take to heal. thank you.

I had two note nails removed four weeks ago…they are still very sore… What is your opionion or soaking everyday as opposed to not soaking but keeping dry with antifection salve???
