Too painful thigh

I run 5k to keep in shape. I run steady…no great speed and have never had any injuries or pain from the running. I’ve been running for about 5 years now, at least 3 days a week and as much as 5. Three weeks ago playing recreational soccer. The day after my second game I started getting pains in my right front thigh right after I had squatted low to pick something up. I thought I felt/heard something tear in my leg. I took it easy that week but I really didn’t understand what I had done so I played another soccer game at the end of the week…. It was somewhat painful. I haven’t been able to run at all I wanted to rest the muscle. I didn’t play my last game but attended a practice. My leg was tender so again, I took it easy and didn’t do any hard kicks. Once I got home I felt a very sharp pain in my right thigh almost like a charlie horse it was very painful and was followed by a burning sensation in my upper thigh. Now it hurts to climb the stairs bend my leg and I don’t seem to be able to lift my right leg without the help of my arms to pull it up. Now walking and sitting is mildly uncomfortable and I don’t can’t lift my leg. I’m wondering what the heck I have done and what I should do to fix it.
