torn ligiment in ankle
I tore a ligiment in my ankle and the foot and ankle Dr. put in a cast for 3 weeks.Now it is in a air cast for 3 weeks. I still can feel the pain he wants to avoid surgery and so do I is there anything out there that would help.Cheryl

Are you using crutches? Does it really hurt to walk on it? If so I would recommend crutches to take some of the weight off it for now. It takes human tissue 6-8 weeks to recover from an injury and you are only 1/2 of the way. Continue to use ice for pain and elevate for swelling. You will have pain for a while…hopefully it will go away.
