Hi I have torn my quad muscle. it has been four days and I still can’t walk properly, I was just wondering how long till I can play soccer and run again. thank you for your time.

I tore my quadricep tendon clean off the kneecap on 3/28. Surgery tomorrow, 4/7.If you haven’t seen an orthopodyet, do it quick. Mine mentioned that, if surgery is needed, it should be done quickly.

i am doing school paper on torn quads and I need to know some information. How do you heal them, what causes them, and just some other general information. I would appreciate your help

I too have torn my quad muscle off the tendon. You have probably had surgury already tell me how it went if it was worth the pain. I can still function if I stretch my leg out. But if I want to run I always have a lot of pain. Can you tell me what the procedure entails?
