Torn Rotator Cuff Sugery

Had sugery for a complete tear 12 weeks ago in left shoulder. Go to therapy twice a week. Still very painful when PT is streching arm above shoulder level. Have to go back to work in about a week and without limatations. Work for a major discount store and have to do lifting and filling shelves many above shoulder level.Problem is, right shoulder is hurting as well. Think I have a tear in it too. How soon do I need to wait to have it checked out?

I to had a torn rotator cuff repair and now have one in the other shoulder. Was wondering how long is long enough to wait till I get this one fixed. Do I need full ROM in first tear so I won’t be so dependent on others for help with my recovery?

That’s a question for your doc. In regards to full rom…if you have one shoulder done first…go through all your rehab so you get full ROM and functional strength then have the other one done. You will be very limited after surgery…no lifting, pushing, pulling for a few weeks.
