TornBicepCost?

Last Monday, moving a stove, one of the legs gave out, and just that second or two of doing a sideways super curl, and pow — the bicep moved up the arm, dull pain, swelling, bruising. In the last 4 days: Swelling has gone down, bicep seems to have moved back down a little bit, however there appears to be about a nickel size piece of bicep missing (toward the bottom front), and if I feel below, I can feel something loose about that size.Question: Is that the muscle, part of the tendon, or ligament? I have little pain, I have full range of motion, and can handle limited weight in a curling action.
It just seems tender at the bottom of the bicep toward the elbow.
I probably need to have it looked at, right? If I need to have surgery, what kind of numbers(price range) could I be looking at? (my deduct is 5000)Thanks for any advice.

Go see a doctor (Orthopedic)I can say for sure you tore your bicep tendon off the bone. you can only repair it with surgury. the longer you wait the more difficult the reattachment becomes. if you do nothing, nothing will happen. the bicep will continue to shrink due to lack of use. the best example is if you grab on to a pole, your arm is the tendon, your body is your bicep. you can push and pull yourself. rip[ your hand from the pole and you can do nothing, your bicep is floating in your arm unable to perform. you need to decide what it’s worth to you. I tore my bicep tendon and opted for the surgury.
