twisted pelvis

(3 discussions)

My chiropractor diagnosed me with a twisted pelvis and tailbone. I wear a gun belt every day to work and work with a dog whom I have to lift up and down sometimes.
I have filed a comp claim because it was really aggravated at work last week.
I am told by the union president that comp would not recognize a chiropractor for the case.
I have been going to one for over a year.
I still have pain and it has gotten worse lately, but then it is aggravated every day when I go to work and have to wear the belt.
Would an orthopedic doctor do an MRI on me and be able to diagnose the problem and fix it? And, if so, how does he “fix” the problem.

Sally, My first question is, did you report the injury to your employer immediately? This is important if your claim is that your injury is work related. Make an appt with an M.D. or D.O. and describe/explain what your chirpractor told you. He or she will order the appropriate diagnostic tests.
GOOD LUCK!!!You may also ask your employer to recommend a physician. Either way,

Chiropractor says pelvis drops and twists backwards resulting in pain below belt on left hip and constant burning in left foot and toes, especially when shoes are worn.
