Upper foot pain

Has anyone had a pain a kind of burning pain on top of their foot, near the base of the second and third toe. It hurts when I walk and sometimes even when I am just sitting, but less so. I pronate and play tennis.
I’m going to see a podiatrist. Could it be Morton’s disease? Thanks.

I have a burning pain just on the top of the left foot. Sometimes it so painful that even touching it is unbearable. No one seems to be able to hepl. My podiatrist was even stumped.
