Warm Feeling on Top of Foot

I read a message posted by “Karen” wherein she spoke of a warm feeling in her ankle bone.
I have the exact warm/hot sensation that comes and goes in a circular area on the top of my foot.
It only lasts a few seconds and happens maybe two or three times a day.
It has been occurring for the last three weeks.
The doctor who responsed to “Karen” said it was nerve related.
Parkinson’s Disease is in my family, but no one has ever heard of this warm sensation as being a symptom.
