my left ankle was fussed and I can hardley move my ankle up or down. ( that part was expected ) The foot however rolls outward very easily and causes a lost of balance .

I have treated patients with continued problems after this type of surgery. I usually use a custom AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis). The most common one I use is a Richie brace. I suggest you see a podiatrist for further information.
