where to buy orthopedic brace?
I am looking for an orthopedic brace for my dad who has polio in his right leg.. (entire leg from the hip to the foot)Can someone tell me where I can get a brace made for him? Most places just have braces for the knee.. I need one right from the hip to the foot of one leg..PLease let me know..

The place to get braces like the one you described is at an orthotic brace clinic.Usually your dr. especially an orthopedic doctor would know where a good orthotist is. Also your doctor would be able to precribe the right type of brace.You can look in the yellow pages under orthopedic appliances and find brace places or orthotic centers.
