Will bones straighten on their own?
I broke my tibia in 3 places back in January.
The bottom third dropped back a bit and is not now in good alignment. From front to back you can see the angular position where it joins what was a butterfly frament.
The doctors have all told me that bones tend to straighten themselves over time.
Is this true? Thanks.

Most breaks will heal just fine and actually that area of the bone may be stronger than before. Usually with a deep bone, like the tibia, if it is not perfectly lined up you won't notice it on the outside as you would in the collar bone for example. A bad break that bad may take up to 14 months to heal 100%
