workout sessions

I have recently started a workout that usually comes out to be about 2-21/2 hours long. I start out with about 45 min- 1hour of cardio. then I go to lifting weights for about 45 minutes doing different muscle groups every day. there is also some calesthenics in between lifting such as lunges and plies. I do ab exercises 3 out of 4 of the days. and as a cool down I do fifteen minutes of the stationary bike. some people I talk to feel this is too much for one day of a workout. this workout is done at a very slow pace with plenty of rest in between sets. is this workout not good for me?

Not unless you have heart disease or some other dibilitating illness. At this pace you’ll be buff!! Listen to your body. If your joints start to ache it may be too much stress with the long workouts. Or if you have muscle pain that does not subside in a day or two. Just use your common sense.
