Itchy,blistery foot

My foot has been itchy, scaly, and blistery for about 4 months. Its not any where near the toes, and is not like athletes foot (which I had a few years ago). A doctor advised me that it wasn’t. Was he correct? Its driving me crazy! Can anyone help???
