I stove my middle finger playing volleyball.
It is slightly swollen and hurts when I move it.
Is there anything I can do for it.
I fell and landed on my knee. According to a recent MRI I now have a bruised knee with trace joint effusion.
I have been instructed by a physical therapist to do a series of leg exercises and the only other exercise I should do is swimming and light bike riding along with daily living exercises.
The less walking the better and thick sole shoes with support or good support sneakers (no high heels).My question is- has anyone had this problem and if so how long did it take to recover from this type of injury? The Ortho physician and physical therapist both are telling me that this could take a long time- like 3-6 months.
Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks for the help with this.
I took a hard fall on my shoulder.
When I went to the hospital the doc told me that I did not dislocate or break anything but I did tear a ligament in my shoulder.
I am 47, but I always maintained myself in great physical shape.
He told me that with rest I would fine in ten days and I shouldn’t do any weight training with that shoulder for at least 6 weeks.
Right now I have a shoulder that looks as if it had been dislocated (though it looks better then when I first injured it) and I am worried about getting my st strength and roundness back in the shoulder.Please help.
