If not, you need to go back to your Orthopedist and get some specific recommendations for your knee. You paid for the surgery, and the rehab advice is part of what you paid for.

i had a minimal tear in the left medial miniscus repaired on 5-14-03. my doctor is out of town, and I spoke to the nurse who gave me these rehab instructions: do leg lifts, and use the crutches for two weeks, applying no more than 50% of body weight. from my conversations with others who have had this procedure done, this seems like an inadequate amount of rehab, and an awfully long time to be on crutches. knowing you are bound my some legal limitations, what is your opinion, or at least what is historically done? thanks for your help.
