dislocated left ankle

I suffered a 20 foot fall that left my left ankle dislocated about 3 weeks ago. I am in a boot/ stirrup type splint, due to the swelling. No bones were broken, which I’m told was unusual for the type of injury. What would be an estimated recovery time for this type of injury? I am 48, and have been an active jogger and weightlifter. What type of exercise and therapy could I do to try and get the best recovery from the injury? Thank you.
