HEAT in heel
I have been getting this strange “hot” sensation in my left heel. It comes and goes quite quickly (lasts a few seconds only) and happens about a dozen times a day. I have not pain, swelling or discomfort, except for the fact that my heel feels HOT – like it is resting on a heating pad. It seems to happed when my legs are straight or bent. Any idea what this might be and if I should be concerned at all?
Thanks so much for your help,Alison

While I can not be completely sure, you may have a nerve entrapment in your heel. You might also have referred pain from a pinched nerve in your back. You might be better off getting an exam from a podiatrist.
