Shoulder pain

What would you recommend for someone that has had chronic shoulder and neck pain for over two years . I have had a rotor cuff tear repaired but nothing seemed to change and now I am told by several doctors that they don’t feel my soulder was fixed and also I have 2 herniated disc in my neck at c5 and c6 which I have been told the neck is the neck pain and the shoulder is the shoulder pain. I am tired of hurting and getting the run around .My accident happened 2 and half years ago and I can’t take much more. The last doctor I saw said my shoulder was dislocated and put me though tremendous pain now I can hardly move my arm at all. Do you have any ideas what I should do I just feel like I am getting the runaround Thank you, Deb

Deb, there are a few things for pain control besides meds. A TENS unit is one of them. It sends a small, not painful, electrical current in the tissue and can fool the brain into thinking there is no pain. You have to get that from a doc or PT. Also, have they suggested nerve blocks?
