slipped disc / siatica

I’ve been experienced back problems since last November 2013… when I think i’m geting better I start having severe pains from the small of my back on the right hand side, starting from under the buttock straight down my leg to my ankle.
Sometimes the pain is so bad that I feel i’m going to faint, the painkillers i’m on do not seem to work at all and it is far worse when i’m sat down, I am more comfortable on my feet but obviously I cannot be on my feet all of the time. Once i’m up and about from sleeping or sitting, it takes anything from 15 — 30 minutes for me to feel at ease and up right! Pls help as i’m at my wits end and do not know what to do, i’m worried!

Pls help as i’m at my wits end and do not know what to do, i’m worried !At the moment I am on Gabaneuron B.D & traction 1hr twice daily, 20lbs, LF belt is very uncomrtble, MRI shows slipped disc in L5—- Indu saraogi, kolkata sensored female, age – 40 yrs, weight- 70kg, height -158 cms.
