I am a 15 yr. old girl diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatters disease by an athletic trainer and he gave me a Cho-Pat strap. When I wear this, it causes even more pain and hurts to play volleyball in it. Ice doesn’t really help. Does anyone have any good relief for Osgood-Schlatters disease?

My son is 17 and has Osgood Schlatter. Is this common in this age? How long before symptoms subside?

Hi my son who is 13 has been told that he is suffering from O.S. He has it bad and has just had two weeks in pot. I have started looking into this and have found some good sights for info. Keep searching and you cxan find answers out there. The worse thing is whatching him in so much pain and the only thing that seems to help him is Nurofen. He has had to drop sports in school for a few months now. I wish you all good luck with this awful thing but as they age there is light at the end of the tunnel from what I have read. Good luck.Debbie
