Ankle Problem
I recently sprained my ankle around to months ago.
I went to urgent care to get it checked out and all they did was have me wrap it up and keep it elevated to stop the swelling. So I did what they doctor told me to do.
The whole routine is not new to me, I have sprained both of my ankles numerous times.
I went for the follow up and the doctor just took a look at it and told me if it is not better in 2-3 weeks come back and see him.
Well it’s been a little longer than that.
I am able to walk and run fine in a staight path. But when I move side to side it hurts very bad.My ankle is still bigger than the other ankle.Any info about my ankle would helpful before I seek medical attention again.

with the history of ankle sprains, I would want to see an MRI to rule out things like ligament tear, fractures, bone chips, defects in the cartilage surfaces, tendon pathology etc. I also would not expect your ankle to go back down so quickly, if ever. You need to see a podiatrist or orthopedist.
