patella femoral syndrome

I have been diagonoised with PFS. Is it common to have severe pain in my toe closest to my baby toe while running. What happens is: my knee begins to ache, my hamstring tightens up and then my foot and toe begin to hurt. I ususally take my shoe off massage my foot stretch my ham and off I go. Would orthotics assist with any of this?

: MY FOUR YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED W/PFS (KNOCK KNEES) BOTH HER PEDIATRICIAN AND A PEDIATRIC SPECIALIST INSIST THAT SHE WILL OUT GROW THIS KNOCK KNEES. I AM REALLY CONCERNED BECAUSE SHE WAS DIAGNOSED AT AGE 3 AND I FIND THAT THIS PROBLEM IS NOT GETTING BETTER. SHE TRIPPS OVER HER FEET ON A REGULAR BASIS ALTHOUGH SHE DOES NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT PAIN I FEEL THAT THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WE CAN DO TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. I BELIEVE SHE IS FLAT FOOT AND HER ANKLE IN THE INSIDE OF HER FEET ARE REALLY FALLING IN I DO NOT KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT (HER ANKLE BONE WILL SOON TOUCH THE FLOOR. PLEASE ADVISE I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO TURN.. AND DO ORTHOTICS REALLY HELP?

Hi, i’m a thirteen year-old seventh grader who loves Gymnastics and Basketball. I don’t know when I got PFS but I started feeling pain in my leg last year. now that I got the truth about what it is I’m more concerned. I need Some help to figure more. Is there doctors that specailize in the syndrome? My doctor said is was minor, but it’s not! I want this to go away so bad because I want to do the things I love with out pain. Shit, a couple days ago I was taking 400mg’s of ibprofen for the pain and in a few hours the pain was right back. Yesterday I took an 800mg and the pain stayed. Is it getting worse? My P.E teacher isn’t helping any, he just yells at me everytime I bring a note from my mom. ……. I don’t get it….why do people always want prof on a fucking peice of paper? it was like this with the Indians too only they where lied to. So if a doctor is reading this, take some notes because I’ll be back to tell you how my progress is going…right now it’s going down the drain!
