ankle weights + conditioning
hi my question is: is their anything wrong about keeping my ankle weights on all-day? I mean will it stunt my growth? individually it is either 2.5 lbs per leg or 5 lbs ( with only half of the weights). it can also be 10 lbs per leg. I do this to condition my legs and my body to withstand the weight ( normally my backpack is so heavy and my legs hurt alot) when I started using the weights I felt less to even no pain ( especially in my left knee). no i’m worried it might stunt my growth since I keep it on for more than 8 hours a day.to me they are relatively light, but I don’t want to stay short just b/c I wore them. ur responses are appreciated. thnx in advance.
