Claw Toe Surgery
HI..
I have had claw toe surgery 3 toes on each foot (including big toe) and am going to have the pins removed next week. I am VERY VERY anxious about how they will take the pins out and the pain involved. I had the sutures taken out a few weeks before and it was horrendous.
If someone could let me know more about this, it would put my mind at ease.

You should most definitely discuss your concerns with your doctor. Perhaps a tranquilizer or even a pain pill might be helpful. In my experience, it is not a big deal to remove a K wire that is not buried. If it is, then a simple block with a local anesthetic is used.Remember tell your doctor of your concerns
