Knee Pain
I have been diagnosed with Patella Femoral Syndrome.
I have seen various doctors and physiotherapists, but no matter how many itband stretches, quad strengthening excercizes and other common “cures”, I still have more pain than ever and it seems to keep getting worse and worse every month. Any suggestions?
Please help me.

A frequent finding with PFS is a weak VMO muscle (vastus medialis oblique). Isolating and strengthening this muscle will help keep the patella in its groove. Have you had an MRI to rule out other causes? If you were my patient I would order an MRI. Are you a runner?
