For several months the ball of my right foot under the last three toes has been itching. I passed it off as a welt due to stress. Yesterday I discovered it was a lump. Nothing is noticeble on the outside of my foot. It appears normal. Could this be a ganglion cyst?

As the days go by, I first experienced some tingling of the toe, foot and leg somewhat, Now, 6 days later, I am experiencing pains, burning sensation, some itching..
I cannot bend the toe backwards (like if in a kneeling position) as I get pain.
Any idea what I could have done, someone said I “jammed my toe”.
There is some swelling but no blue/black discolor.
My wife may have broken her toe yesterday. The one next to the big toe. A 2 litre water bottle fell on it, lid first. There is swelling on one side of the toe. We are not sure if its actual swelling or in fact a bone fracture?
I asked her to go to the doctor but she insists there is nothing they can do for her. She asked me to go to the pharmacy and get some cotton balls and medical tape.
If we tape the injured toe together with the next toe and place cotton wool inbetween, would this be ok to keep the toe steady? Does she really need to go to the doctor now? Or can we wait for 2 weeks to see how it heals?

I have just recently found out that I am suffering from knee tendenitis in both knees. The physical therapist let me know he gave me a little knee brace that doesn’t really help what can I do to stregnthen my knee at home or in a gym. It also buckles on me and the pain gets so server it can’t drive or jump do you really think it is just knee tendenitis. thanx Ali
Read More I am a 40 year old woman in good health and exercise about 3-4 times per week on a treadmill or elliptical for 30 minutes and then weights. On Monday of this week, after walking at a 4 incline on the treadmill, I began to notice throughout the day a sorenesss in my hip bone that felt much like a bruise but no bruising. It still feels that way 3 days later and mostly when I walk–not when I sit, lie down or sleep.
Is this anything to be worried about?
I have a big problem with my toes and I don’t know how it happened. They start off looking dark at the bone area and a couple of them were developing corns (but not corns yet) I started using the Dr Scholls corn remover liquid before they were even corns. The corns peeled off but within a couple of days they were back and even darker. Please tell me how I can get rid of them for good without the darkness.
Read More well, we’ve narrowed down my pain and numbness to the sesamoid bone in the big toe – it causes pain daily and I have discomfort walking and shoes are bothersome. Upon palpation I see stars! Since this has been going on for quite a long time my podiatrist has suggested removing the sesamoid bone and shaving any areas that need it.
MRI and CAT scans have shown no other growths – although last year’s MRI did show an cyst in the joint of the toe last year- but CAT scan did not show anything last month.
What’s your take on this procedure?
I recently starting having the middle toe of my right foot start going numb.
In addition, on my left foot the toe next to my big toe seems to be pushing against my big toe (I broke that same toe several years ago but haven’t had any other problems with it).
It causes some pain unless I kind of put the toe on top of the big toe.All seems really odd.
Any ideas what could cause such a thing.
Hi, my question is this. About two weeks ago I had a thorn stab me in my achilles tendon.
It got infected, anyways I took antibiotics but, after the swelling went down there is a lump in it. Now I can’t walk fast even stretching causes pain.
Is this something that will heal with time? Or will exercisising make it worse?
