Sore soles of feet

(2 discussions)

When I first get up in the morning the soles of my feet are extremley tender to walk on.
However, after walking around for a few minutes the pain goes away. Do you have any ideas as to what could be causing it and what I can do to try and relieve the tenderness?

Same problem with sore soles as posted by Beverly on August 27, 2014.My soles stay tender all day, although they improve as the day progresses. I do not wear high heels. My ankle was slightly broken in April, and I wear flat shoes. I didn’t see a response to Beverly on the website. Thanks for a response

Hi-Same problem. SOles are tender and hurt all day. Hurt the most when not on them for any length of time, i.e.-after laying donw or sitting for awhile. Once I step on them it is very painful. They are not red or even swollen, but hurt 24/7 and have for many months now. I mostly wear tennis shoes, different styles, but comfortable ones. Mostly they feel like I am walking on marshmallows, but even still the soles of my feet hurt when walking in them. Any help or where to find help is appreciated.
