arch pain with broken heel
My father broke his heel about a month ago and he is now complaining about a burning sensation starting in the arch and up around the toes and stopping on top of his injured foot, he is also complaining about pins and needles in his foot. Is there anything that can help him besides pain medication, some pain medicines he can’t take and what’s left does not seem to helping? Please help if you can.

It is possible the posterior tibial nerve is irritated. I have a good deal of success using a TENS or SPORTX galvanic stimulator as an adjunct to treatment. These are supplied by Rehabilicare. A doctor must prescribe it. So possibily you can discuss this with the doctor.
