Pain in the tail bone region

: I’m 24, male. I am having this pain in the tail bone region for nearly 2 to 3 weeks now, but it has been unbearable for the last 2 to 3 days. I cannot sit properly or even lie on my back. I have lie on my sides. The pain gets acute when trying to get up from a sitting posture or when turnig sides while sleeping. I cannot even sleep properly at night. It pains even with the slightest pressure on my butt.: I went to the doctor and they did x-rays (for fractures) but found nothing. Now I am on pain killers and sedatives. But I can’t continue like this for long. My work basically consists of being on the seat in front of the computer for nearly 10 hours (minimum) daily. Inspite of the pain killers, the pain is persisting. I don’t know how to get rid of this pain.:Please help, Thank You – Sandip.
