I am going to have the same operation in 3 weeks could you please tell me what I can expect after the surgery.. how long to recover, before you could do anything that requires strain… Thanks Jim Stenger
Hi ThereI have just had a Lumbar Disectomy (two weeks ago) and the pain down the back of my right leg immediately dissapeared. The Neurosurgeon who performed the surgery has told me that for the next six weeks (now 4) all I can do is stand and lie down and not to sit at all. I would like to know whether this advise is standard procedure? Looking forward to your replies
