Torn Hamstring?

I have started doing a lot of biking and swimming to help with some resent depression.
My calf became very sore, so I dropped to swimming only to let it heal. On the third day I was just walking and felt a snap in my calf. The pain almost put me on the floor. If I press on the back of the calf where I felt the pain, there seems to be a depression or hole. I can walk with my foot pointed to the side, but am unable to walk normally. What do I need to do to get my calf healed and be able to start bike riding again? Also are there any exercises I can do to prevent this from happening again?
I’m at day four since the tear.

I fell on a wet tile floor – and tore my hamstring – boy is it painful – is there any type of compression I can use or should use – I haven’t gone back to work yet and am doing so Sunday – I gt up and down and do some walking – ouch – it’s also my right leg and I can’t drive any advise would be helpful

  2. I just tore my tendons from the ischiumand tore my hamstring.Ihave received completely contradictory advice in terms of treatment.WHat have you done and how do you feel.

  3. I WAS WATER SKIING IN AUGUST 2002 ABIOUT 9 WEEKS AGO AND THE CAPTAIN OF THE SPEED BOAT PULLED ME OUT OF THE WATER BEFORE I WAS SET. MY RIGHT LEG WAS ALMOST STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF BENT, I FELT ONE OF THE THREE HAMSTRINGS POP AND I HAD COMPLETE RIGHT LEG BRUISING FOR ONE-TWO WEEKS. I FEEL A LUMP JUST BELOW MY GLUTEUS MAXIMUS (CHEEK) BUT I’M WALKING FINE. I CAN ONLY RUN SLOW FOR A SHORT TIME WILL THIS COMPLETELY HEAL. DID I RUPTURE A TENDON THAT CONNECTS THE MUSCLES? I’VE HAD TWO MAJOR TENDON RUPTURES AND SURGICAL REPAIRS ALREADY(PATELLAR AND ACHILLES).IF IT IS FA TENDON WILL IT RECONNECT BY ITSELF, HOW LONG?
