Hip muscle pain (please help at wits end)

Im an aussie the other week after work I noticed my left hipwas soreI went to football training ( Icoach the local under 15s)I did a pirriformas stretch and that seemed to set of some severe pain for about 5 secs.Went home felt fine got out of bed that night 10.00 could not walk pain in left hip no back pain foot was numb up hospital doc sais no disc probs just muscle strain 3 weeks later still numb cant sleep as it hurts to lay down PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!
