Toe numbness
I’ve been experiencing a slight numbness/pins and needles effect in my second toe.
I noticed that this problem began occurring over the summer, when I started wearing thong sandles every day.
My second toes are about 1/8 of an inch taller than my big toes–I’m not sure if that plays a part in my problem.
Do you think I need to see a podiatrist?
Thanks for your help.

As I state frequently, to see is to know, not to see is to guess. I do not think the length of the toe is the cause of your problem though. One possibility is you might be developing a Morton's neuroma.
