leg calf muscle pain
Dear DrI am 27 years old and I am suffering from left leg pain for almost 25 years till now. The pain is acute in the left calf muscle for a week or so and then disappears with slight pain. it feels as though my whole spot is tearing apart. I have tried many many doctors and they couldnt find any fault in my x-ray report. I have some swollen tissues in 2 mm diameter in the left calf muscles. Hence I am left in a horrible state. Please help me of what I should do in order to get rid of the pain.
Thank you very much. Please reply me soon. Eagerly waiting for your reply.
Thank youPreeth

What you describe is possibly a muscle spasm and even a tear. The cause might be related to one of many things. Congenital anomaly, vascular problem, electrolyte imbalance, limb length difference to name a few possibilities that come to mind. I recommend a MRI and possibly a blood work up.
