ACL repair & running
I had my ACL repaired 6 years ago. I went through a year of intense physical therapy and got in great shape. I was back to running my 25-35 miles/week. But then I became anorexic about 1 year later and lost so much muscle and strength. Now I can’t run more than once a week or once every two weeks without inducing pain and limping. I wish I could get back to running. I am lifting weights 5-6 times/week. I do some cardio, but get very tired of eliptical machines and stairsteppers. What can I do? Doctor? Physical therapy? Self-therapy?
