CAST/FOOT/PAIN?

I saw the orthepedic doctor yesterday after a fall on Monday. I went to the ER monday and the doctors were puzzled because the couldnt find the fracture on the xray. so they refered me to an othepedic doctor. So I went yesterday and on the first set of films he founf nothing and ordered a second set with me standing on it. he said that it was a bad foot sprain but then told me I had to be in a regular cast for 1 month then a walking cast fro 2 months after that but on all the paper work it said fracture. he said no weigth on the foot. But my foot doesn’t hurt anymore! Is it becuase that is the point of the cast or am I mis diagnosed and I should get a second opinion?

could you please elaborate on where your initail pain was? Did any event cause this pain?

if I set on foot untill it falls aslepp for a period of time is it possbile for me to break it when I walk on it I had never being cast or used crutches, my classmate had used crutches with there sprain ankle should I deman that I begiving crutches or my ankle was bad enough require the use of crutches all I know the sprain hurted as hell the sprain happend a year ago it wasn’t broken as they took x-rays
