I have a burning or sensation on being stuck with pins in my left big toe. It first started six months or more and it was less frequent in the begining, like once a month or more. Now I’m feeling the sensation daily and almost all the time. It doesn’t hurt when I press on it (actually the tip ), there’s no swelling or redness. I looked up Gout, but I’m not convinced that’s the problem. However, I do take a diuretic and estrogen. I also resently think I may have felt the same sensation in my right big toe, however it was only mommentarily and hasn’t returned as yet. Can you give me some advice?

I do not know without seeing it. Your best solution is to have it looked at by a podiatrist. Good luck.

Your symptoms do not sound like gout. The more likely diagnosis is something to do with nerves, but without an exam, I can not tell.Go see a podiatrist.
