Sacral Shear/4yrs of pain..forever?

I am a 57 yr yg female, 5’1″, and weighed 110 lbs and was in excellent physical shape when 4 yrs ago I was “bodySlammed” from the back at the right side.by a 115 lb lab. I heard and felt a “pop” at my lower right back and lower right neck at impact and was knocked forward flat on my face and scooted along the pavement. I was walking and had just turned my head looking over my right shoulder at impact, as the owner of the dog had shouted a warning. After 18 months of agonizing pain I was finally diagnosed with a sacral shear…right pelvis was moved back and upwards into my sacrum. I have since developed Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatgue Syndrome and still have the “deep sickening toothache type pain” in my right lower back and my right lower neck. and now even in the middle of my back. I cannot seem to find the right doctor to determine what is wrong with my back and neck. Nothing shows on mri and myleogram, (which indicates it is muscle?); yet, since the injury occurred, the normal curvature in my neck is now totally straightened and I’ve developed slight (doctors term) scoliosis in my lower spine. Can anyone help me find a doctor who might be able to tell me what is going on?…Is the myofascia involved? Please respond….my life has come to an incredibly painful and depressing stall…Thanks MSM

Have you tried seeing a chiropractor?
I fell into the hands of one recently and was apsolutely amazed at the knowledge they have. When it comes to joints and movement etc they know alot more than your average physio.
If you haven’t tried that line of treatment, I would certainly recomend giving it a go! Up until recently I would have been nervous, you always hear things like they can do more than good. But now I totally disagree. They have a very firm knowledge of how your bones should move!!

Anyway, just a thought. I hope you can find some relief somehow!

    Sarah.
