sensory nerve impingement
Recovering from my two broken bones in my foot. I read about the sensory nerve impingement you noted earlier… symptoms of wet feeling. I experience that on the back of my heal of the foot I broke. I wear shoes all the time… not going barefoot yet. Are these symptoms normal for recovery? I broke my foot on July 28. I’m wearing hard sole shoes but still exp lots of swelling and ankle pain. Sometimes I can walk fairly well for a few minutes and at other times my ankle pain kicks in and it hurts.. so then I’m back to limping. X-rays show no broken ankle. Would the pain be from not using the foot for this time? Would the wet sensations be related?

I would really need to examine your foot and ankle. One possibility is atrophy of disuse, another is a tendonitis. Have you tried various ankle braces? Have you done any rehabing?
